Im Back to blogging, always seems easier for me when the weather gets warmer...Go figure...

 SUMMER IS DEFINITELY HERE! And I am so happy that it is... I am high on life and on HIGH WAISTED BIKINIS! 



 The 2013 Summer looks are so retro and I LUVS IT! My great-grandmother used to say "what goes around comes around so don't throw anything out". How true indeed. The High Waist bikini from the 50's and 60's has come back around in 2013. 

 This style of swimwear is not only chic and fresh right now, (as old as the stlye really is) but it is so great for girls or ANY shape and size. It is not your size 0-2 only bikini!!! You do not have to have abs or buns of steel to look good with this choice because of the benefit of the High waist which covers the stomach and also supports the backside.

Hey! Been awhile...Thought I would blog as the season is winding down and show some of the things that I have been obsessing over the past couple of months... Enjoy! Summer is ALMOST over.... HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! I for one am soooo very HAPPY that 2013 is OVER! Happy June! Summer is here!  And oh how I love Social Networking and the internet, because it allows you to be connected to people and information that you would never come across otherwise. Almost a year ago 7/25/12, I posted a Spotlight Salute about a Model by the name of  Dorothea Towles Churc h.  I was pleased to have come across her (good ole' internet) because I had never heard of this African American "Super" model from the 1950's who shared the same birthday as me! However I posted the below picture of her and to my surprise, this was not who I thought it was, and I was informed on my #Pinterest page (good ole social networking) of who it REALLY was!
